All of the personnel who went to 'Nam with A Co. in July 68 were at Ft. Carson for a period of time. Some were already in the unit when the deployment was announced, some were infused from other companies of the 7th and 563rd (?) Engr Bn also at Carson, and some were pulled from units outside Carson or even reassigned while in transit to other units. I believe that the CO had final say of which troops he wanted to take to Nam - an awsome respnsibility!

The names below are from my tour at Ft. Carson from March 1970 through January 1971
I appologize for my failing memory and please go easy on me if you were forgotten!
